The Giddy – Up, Get Away Wedding Package

Have you ever dreamed of leaving all the hustle, bustle & expense of planning a big wedding behind and just ride off into the sunset with your sweet heart to get married? Now is your chance to hit the trails on horseback with the love of your life & exchange your vows on a beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain Top.   The staff of Leatherwood Mountains will see to your every need and match you with seasoned trusty trail horses for a perfect ride up to a beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain Overlook.  A two night minimum stay in our vacation rental cabins is required. www.leatherwoodmountains.com.  This package is suitable for 2-8 people.

This Wedding Package includes:

• A private trail ride to your ceremony location, high on the Danl’ Boone Trail.  The total trip time will be approximately 3+ hours.  (2 hours of  riding & 1+ hour of ceremony and photography time.)
• Wedding photography - approximately one hour of time with our wedding photographer. Photos will include creative portraits and romantic bride & groom shots. You will receive a CD with all photos taken within one week. (Additional time with the Photographer is an add on option.)
• A freshly baked petite wedding cake beautifully decorated and trimmed. The cake may be delivered to the dining room of your cabin or the Sunroom of the Elk Creek Inn, for you to enjoy when you return from the trail. The package includes a cake large enough to serve 2-6 people, and you can upgrade to a larger cake if needed.
• A wedding service conducted by our Wedding Officiant who will properly file your marriage certificate with the court promptly after your wedding.   
• A fresh flower bridal bouquet & a groom's boutonniere. Wedding flowers can make a big difference in the "look and feel" of your wedding photos. They add a touch of color, identify the pictures as "wedding photos" and give you something to do with your hands, besides hold the reins. Your choice of colors.  They will be waiting on you at the ceremony location.
• Complete Event coordination & witnesses if needed.  All you need to do is show up with your boots shined! 
• $1,300 mid-week (Mon-Thurs) - $1,500 (Fri, Sat & Sun)

Optional Add-on’s to this package include:

• Additional riders can join you at our regular Trail Riding Rate.
• Additional hours with the Photographer for a customized wedding package that will be a keepsake forever.

The True Blue, Get Away Wedding Package

If a private & tranquil escape with your sweetheart is what you have in mind for a perfect wedding get-away then look no further.   The staff of Leatherwood Mountains will see to it that your dreams of a perfect mountain wedding come true.  A two night minimum stay in our cabins is required. www.leatherwoodmountains.com.  This package is suitable for 2- 19 people.

This Wedding Package includes:

• A picturesque location to exchange your vows – Pick from one of the following locations:  1) The deck of your private Rental Home, overlooking the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains.  2) The Cabin Stage or surrounding gardens -  Located at the base of the massive Flag stone Chimney of our Welcome Center.  You are surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of a serene Creekside Meadow. 3) The Valley Gazebo – located in our Equine Center, the horses that fill the surrounding pastures can act as witnesses to your ceremony as you exchange vows in this lovely location.
